
Walleye Sign Nick Duff and Robin Richards

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that they have signed defenseman Nick Duff and forward Robin Richards to contracts for the 2010-11 season.
Duff, a native of Novi, MI, has spent the past four years with the University of British Columbia. Nick appeared in 96 games during his time with the Thunderbirds. Prior to that, he spent time in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League) with the Brampton Battalion and the Kitchener Rangers. In 2005-06, Nick collected three goals with eight helpers in 63 contests while racking up 135 penalty minutes.
Richards joins the Walleye following a season in the CHL with Laredo. In 58 games with the Bucks, Robin scored nine goals with 10 assists and 237 penalty minutes. Since turning professional in 2005, Richards has collected 891 penalty minutes in 202 contests. The native of Winnipeg, Manitoba has played with Cincinnati, Columbia, and most recently Alaska (2008-09) in the ECHL.
