Toledo, OH - Defenseman Mike Slowikowski has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye.
Slowikowski appeared in three games earlier this season with Toledo, producing no points and a plus 2. He has spent most of this season with the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League. In 31 contests, the native of Ewing, New Jersey, has posted two goals, five assists and 20 penalty minutes. The 6'6", 231 pound defenseman was also a plus 12 for the Rivermen.
The 25-year-old defenseman spent the previous four years at Utica College in the NCAA Division III. Slowikowski had 15 goals and 27 assists in 102 total games for the Pioneers. In his Junior and Senior seasons, he landed on the ECAC West All-Conference Academic team and was a three time ECAC West All-Conference Honorable mention.
