Keenyn Walker and Carlos Garcia, inserted into the lineup in the middle of the game, paced the Lancaster Barnstormers to a 7-2 victory over the traveling Black Sox at the annual Fan Fest game Saturday afternoon at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

The Barnstormers snapped a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth. With two outs, Rico Noel drove a double deep into the left field corner. Ryan Casteel looped a single into left, plating Noel for a 2-1 lead. Walker yanked a double down the right field line, chasing Casteel to third. Both runners scored on a double to left by Garcia.

Walker singled and stole two bases in the bottom of the eighth and scored on a sacrifice fly by Garcia. Tyler Bortnick added a second sacrifice fly later in the inning.

A triple by Tillman Pugh and single by Morgan Blatnik gave the Black Sox a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Darian Sandford's leadoff home run in the fourth inning leveled the score at 1-1.

The Barnstormers play a quick intrasquad game, closed to the public, on Sunday afternoon then finish their pre-season schedule Monday at 5:00 against the Lancaster Bible College Chargers.
