Helena Brewers News Release

The Helena Brewers (8-16) swept the Great Falls Voyagers (12-12) on Monday with a 3-2 walk-off win at Kindrick Field.

Pitching dominated a majority of the game for both sides as Conor Harber and Lucas Shearrow each turned in solid starts. Harber, making just his second start in professional baseball, went four innings for the Brewers, giving up just one run on three hits.

Johan Cruz gave the Voyagers the first lead of the game, hitting a solo homerun in the fourth. It was his second homer of the series.

The Brewers then tied it up in the fifth when Milan Post came up with an RBI single to score Yerison Pena.

J.B. Kole threw three solid innings of solid relief following Harber, not allowing a run and just one hit. He would strike out one and walk one batter.

Helena then grabbed their first lead of the night in the seventh when Mitch Ghelfi led off with a walk and scored on a wild pitch. Ghelfi would score two of Helena's three runs Monday night.

Alex Farina (1-2) gave up an unearned run in the eighth to tie the game back up at 2-2. The Brewers infield committed two errors behind him to allow Grant Massey to score after a leadoff single.

Ghelfi led off the bottom of the ninth with a double off Danny Dopico (2-3). He advanced to third on a wild pitch in the next at-bat. Dopico was able to record two outs in the inning, but could not get through Carlos Belonis. Belonis came up with the bases loaded and two outs to single to left and finish the game. It was Helena's third walk-off of the season.

The Brewers now head to Missoula to take on the Osprey in a two-game series. First pitch on Tuesday is set for 7:05 p.m.
