
Vyletelka Cracks NHL Central Scouting Midterm List

On MLK day, the National Hockey League's Central Scouting Midterm rankings were posted, and Knights goaltender Samuel Vyletelka made the cut.
Vyletelka, 18, was listed as the 29th ranked North American goalie, per NHL.com. The Slovakian net minder joins three other North American Hockey League goaltenders in this category, and is the lone Knights representative at the midterm point of the season.
Thus far, the NAHL rookie bares a 3.51 GAA, along with a .908 save percentage. Samuel's highlight performance of the season came November 2nd, where he made a season high-44 saves against Johnstown.
The NHL's Central Scouting rankings are led by American born forward Jack Hughes and Finnish right winger Kaapo Kakko. The 2019 NHL Draft will be hosted by the Vancouver Canucks and takes place on June 21st.
