Odessa Jackalopes News Release
ODESSA, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes have acquired forward Jake Vaughan from the Bismark Bobcats in exchange for a third round pick in the 2019 North American Hockey League Draft.
Vaughan, a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, played with the Jackalopes last Sunday in Topeka.
"He's a big forward that has a little bit of skill," said head coach Greg Gatto on Sunday. "We're always looking for the future, he's a '99 with some big size and he can build for next year as well."
Jackalopes fans can catch their first look at Vaughan when the Jackalopes host the Lone Star Brahmas this Friday and Saturday at the Ector County Coliseum. Face-off is set for 7:11 pm on both nights.
