
Voyagers Make Roster Moves

Great Falls Voyagers News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Great Falls Voyagers:
- LHP Chris Freudenberg promoted to Low-A Kannapolis
- RHP Luis Martinez transferred to Great Falls from AZL White Sox
Freudenberg earns his first promotion to Low-A Kannapolis today, after going 3-3 with a 3.17 ERA in nine starts for Great Falls this season. The lefty's ERA is the third-best in the Pioneer League, and his 48.1 innings pitched is also third in the league. The Tempe, Ariz., native is tied for the team lead in quality starts with five so far this year.
Martinez was received today from the AZL White Sox, to take Freudenberg's spot on the Voyager staff. The 19-year old right-hander was signed by the White Sox as an international free agent out of Venezuela in 2012. So far in seven appearances in the Arizona League, including six starts, Martinez went 3-2 with a 4.09 earned run average in 33 innings.The righty struck out 40 in his time in the AZL, the second highest total in the league.
