GF SKID HITS THREE
For the third straight night, the Voyagers dropped a one-run contest to Missoula, losing 7-6 to the Osprey Thursday night. For the second time in his last three outings, Dane Stone gave up six runs, and was tagged with his first loss of the season. With Missoula leading 6-3, Great Falls climbed back within one in the sixth on RBI singles from Ethan Gross and John Ziznewski. Trailing by two in the ninth, the Voyagers pulled within one and got the tying run to third and go-ahead run to second, but could not bring them home.
MASON'S MASHING
In last night's loss, Great Falls outfielder Mason Robbins went 1-5 with an eighth inning double to extend his hitting streak to 13 games, tying him with Jake Peter for the longest streak by a Voyager this year. During this run, the former Southern Miss Golden Eagle is 26-57 (.456), and has raised his batting average from  .215 all the way to .328.
A ROUGH VOYAGE
Great Falls went just 2-5 on their seven-game road trip that wrapped up last night, including losing three straight road games for only the second time all year. The Voyagers lost two out of three to start the trip in Billings, and then lost three of four at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in Missoula, where they had been 5-0 in 2014 and won seven straight overall going back to the end of last season. The rough trip has Great Falls in last in the North Division in the second half, and dropped their overall road record to 14-11.
UP NEXT: BILLINGS
After their seven-game trip, Great Falls is back at Centene Stadium for their next nine, starting tonight with the first of two tonight against Billings. The Mustangs took two of three from the Voyagers last weekend at Dehler Park to even the season series at five apiece. Great Falls took three of four the first time Billings visited Centene Stadium, from June 21-24.
