Great Falls Voyagers News Release

The Great Falls Baseball Club, Inc., has announced a sale of the Great Falls Voyagers team to local business group Enbar, Inc.

Baseball has been played at the same location in Great Falls since the late 1800s, and the current stadium has been home to professional baseball since its construction in 1948.

Over the years, the team has had many affiliations and names - Giants, Dodgers, and White Sox - but baseball and the ballpark have remained constant. A summer tradition that ties generations together.

In deciding whether to sell The Great Falls Baseball Club, current ownership was committed to finding local owners who would agree to keep the team in Great Falls rather than moving the franchise out of town, or even out of state.

"Not only is baseball near and dear to our hearts, but the stadium has been an important community gathering space for generations. The Voyagers play 48 home games a summer, and the stadium hosts another 50 + Legion baseball games and other events. There are thousands of people attending our amazing facility who are also staying, shopping, and eating at businesses in our community," Voyagers president Scott Reasoner said. "Seeing a community institution such as The Voyagers leave our community simply was not an option, and we knew we had to step up and make sure professional baseball was around for the next 100 years."

A key partner in Enbar, Inc.'s expansion has been the Great Falls Development Alliance. "We are excited to provide assistance to support local ownership of the team and continuation of this important quality of life asset. Improving quality of life is a key piece of our mission. A top challenge of our employers is recruiting talent, and we think the facility plays a key role in retaining and attracting talent in the Great Falls Region." Brett Doney, Great Falls Development Alliance.

The new ownership group, Enbar, Inc., is planning improvements to the stadium in the next couple of years, including new netting, a third-base deck, and a new children's play zone. They are committed to maintaining and expanding the community connections that the Voyagers have developed over decades.

"The Voyagers take great pride in our community non-profit connections," Reasoner said. "We host about 40 different organizations each summer for fundraising events and donate $50,000 to local groups. That is something we want to keep alive and continue to grow."

Enbar, Inc. will keep ticket prices the same for the 2025 season and plans to bring some new and creative food options to the concession stands, including local favorite Big Dipper Ice Cream.

Enbar, Inc., was founded by six local like-minded entrepreneurs in 2017 with the creation of Enbar Craft Cocktail Lounge in downtown Great Falls. In the last seven years, they have further invested in the community, forming The Block Bar & Grill, Sidequest Arcade Bar, and Big Dipper Ice Cream. They have also teamed up with other community partners to hold events such as the Downtown Summer Jam and 4th of July Hootenanny concerts.
