6R 6TH FUELS COMEBACK

Trailing Missoula 7-4 entering the sixth, the Voyager offense erupted for six runs, the most they have scored in any inning this season. Jackson Laumann got things rolling for Great Falls, launching a two-run homer, his fourth of 2014, to cut the lead to two. Hunter Jones tied the game with a run-producing single, and Zach Fisher gave the Voyagers the lead with a two-run single before a wild pitch scored the sixth run of the frame. The Voyagers added three more in the seventh, pushing their total to 13, a new season high.

MORE ON THE OFFENSE

In the 13-run effort, Great Falls put up their highest run total of the season, and the most since they scored 13 last August 18 in a 13-12 win at Idaho Falls. The 13 hits was two shy of the team's season high in that department which was set on June 26 in a 7-3 win at Helena. The six-run sixth is the highest total in any one frame for the Voyagers in 2014.

SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER

For the second straight Saturday against the Osprey, Voyager backstop Zach Fisher tied his career-high with four runs batted in. The Fontana, Calif., native went 3-5 and had a two-run single to tie the game in the sixth-run sixth, then added his other two RBIs when he doubled in the three-run Voyager seventh. Fisher has now driven in four in a game three different times in his minor league career, and his 12 RBIs this year have him tied with Jackson Laumann and Chevy Clarke for the team lead.

HUNTER JONES STAYS HOT

Since joining Great Falls on July 1, outfielder Hunter Jones has been a key piece at the top of the lineup. The former Indians farmhand has at least one hit in all five games with the Voyagers, including a 2-5 effort last night in which he hit an opposite field homer and tied a career-high with three runs scored. Jones is 8-21 (.381) at the plate in his five games with Great Falls.
