Orlando Solar Bears News Release


Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that fans now have the opportunity to vote for the 2015 ECHL All-Star Jersey. The 2015 CCM ECHL All-Star Game, presented by Visit Orlando, will be played on January 21, 2015, at the Amway Center in Orlando.

Over 120 jersey designs were submitted and the entries have been narrowed down to three finalists. The finalists were chosen by a group made up of individuals from the ECHL, CCM, the Joe Bosack Design Co. and the Orlando Solar Bears. The contest was open to anyone over the age of 18, and artists were asked to create the jersey design using any of the three All-Star marks owned by the Orlando Solar Bears.

Each of the three finalists will receive an autographed replica jersey while the grand prize winner will receive a game worn jersey and be recognized in a press release announcing the winner.

Fans can vote for their favorite jersey by visiting www.orlandosolarbearshockey.com/jerseyvote. The voting will close on Monday, December 23, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Eastern Time.

The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, play all of their home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center.
