MILWAUKEE (March 4, 2010) - Milwaukee Wave goalkeeper Nick Vorberg has been named Major Indoor Soccer League Goalkeeper of the Month for February.

Vorberg won both his starts in February as the Wave (10-6) ascended to first place in the MISL. He stopped 21 of 28 shots and allowed just 14 points in the two victories. Vorberg is 6-4 on the season with a 9.18 PAA, second in the MISL.

Vorberg is the fifth award winner from the Wave this season, most in the MISL. Troy Dusosky was November's Defender of the Month, and the Wave swept all three honors in December - Josh Rife (Defense), Marco Terminesi (Offense) and Marcel Feenstra (Goalkeeper).

Other award winners for February were from the Philadelphia KiXX - Adauto Neto for offense and Pat Morris for defense.

The Wave host the Rockford Rampage at 2 p.m. Sunday, and halftime features the 18th annual Mascot Game, presented by the Wisconsin Chapter of the National MS Society.
