
VooDoo\'s regular season finale moved to Sunday

Due to the potential playoff implications and national interest surrounding the matchup for both teams, the New Orleans VooDoo's regular season finale at the Orlando Predators has been moved from Friday, May 20 to Sunday, May 22. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. The contest will be played at the TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando.
The game was moved to accommodate a national telecast for NBC Sports. In addition to the 8-6 VooDoo, the 9-6 Predators, 9-5 New York Dragons, 8-6 Tampa Bay Storm and 7-6-1 Dallas Desperados are fighting for two playoff spots. The Sunday matchup between the VooDoo and the Predators will have crucial playoff implications for both teams. The Predators defeated the VooDoo 63-52 in the first meeting between the two Southern Division rivals this season on March 13 at the New Orleans Arena.
The game can be viewed nationally on NBC and will be seen locally on WDSU-6. The game will also be heard on WSMB-1350 AM. Chris Kenyon will handle play by play and Tim Fanguy will serve as the color analyst.
