Wednesday, July 11th - The Volcanoes open a five-game homestand against the Yakima Bears, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. And since it is Wednesday, it is our second of 5 Wednesday $1 Family Feast Night, sponsored by Franz Bakery, where you can get a Hotdog for just $1, a Soda for just $1, a Popcorn for just $1 or a Ice Cream for just $1. Feed the entire family with this tremendous Wednesday promotion. It is also Faith and Family Night at Volcanoes Stadium. Bring your family, invite your friends, neighbors and those in your place of worship to join you for an evening dedicated to families and various faiths. Game Time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:30.

Thursday, July 12th - The Volcanoes continue their five-game series against the Yakima Bears, and we welcome New York Yankees legend Don Larsen, the ONLY pitcher in baseball history to pitch a perfect game in the World Series. This great Yankee pitcher from the 1950's will be at Volcanoes Stadium to meet and greet fans and sign Free Autographs. Larsen's teammates included Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, & Whitey Ford. In addition, Larsen pitched for the San Francisco Giants, in the 1960's, and played with greats like Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Willie McCovey, & Orlando Cepeda. You can get a FREE autograph from one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. It is also our fourth of 6 $1.00 Thursday Nights where selected adult beverages are just $1.00 during the game in the Stadium's Lava Lodge Sports Pub. NERD ALERTFriday, July 13th -- Cancer Awareness Weekend sponsored by Hematology Oncology of Salem. This is the "granddaddy" weekend of the summer, as the Volcanoes honor and celebrate cancer survivors. Survivors also will receive special gifts. The Volcanoes continue play with the Yakima Bears. The evening concludes with an exciting Fireworks Show courtesy of Hematology Oncology of Salem. The Volcanoes will be wearing their Cancer Awareness Jerseys compliments of Dr. Chuck Petrunin. If you know a cancer survivor be sure to invite them to this very special event, you can surprise them too as the Volcanoes will display photographs of cancer survivors on the Stadium's jumbotron FREE during the game...email the picture(s) to the Volcanoes at probasebal@aol.com (yes, one "L" in baseball). In memory of photographs will also gladly be displayed. Game Time is 7:05; Gates Open at 6:00.

Saturday, July 14th -- Cancer Awareness Weekend continues as the Volcanoes honor and celebrates all cancer survivors. After the game with the Yakima Bears, Class A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, there will be another outstanding Fireworks Show courtesy of Hematology Oncology of Salem. Survivors also will receive special gifts. It is also Saturday Prize Wheel Night presented by the Buffalo Wild Wings where fans can spin to win a great prize. Have fun spinning the Prize Wheel. The Volcanoes will be wearing their new Cancer Awareness Jerseys compliments of Dr. Chuck Petrunin. Sunday, July 15th -- Cancer Awareness Weekend and Post Game Concert. The Volcanoes close their five-game homestand with the Yakima Bears. The Volcanoes will honor and celebrate all cancer survivors, as survivors will be invited to meet the Volcanoes Player on-the-field prior to the game (must arrive by 4:30pm), and be involved in pre-game ceremonies. Survivors also will receive special gifts. The Volcanoes will be wearing their new Cancer Awareness Jerseys compliments of Dr. Chuck Petrunin. If you know a cancer survivor be sure to invite them to this very special event, you can surprise them too as the Volcanoes will display photographs of cancer survivors on the Stadium's jumbotron FREE during the game...email the picture(s) to the Volcanoes at probasebal@aol.com (yes, one "L" in baseball). In memory of photographs will also gladly be displayed. Stay after the game and enjoy a post-game concert by JT & the Tourists with easy listening and rock-n- roll tunes. Monday, July 16th - The Volcanoes open a three-game homestand against the Everett AquaSox, affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. It is our third of 5 Monday Kids Night at Volcanoes Stadium where kids 12 and under may email Volcanoes owner, Jerry Walker, jwalker@volcanoesbaseball.com, and request a FREE ticket. It is also Hometown Heroes Night, presented by Covanta Marion, where we will be Thanking and Honoring policemen, fireman and ambulance personnel, and other public safety personnel from many agencies in the greater WillametteValley. The Volcanoes will honor and thank our police officers, fire fighters, ambulance drivers and other public safety personnel. There will be action galore: police cars, fire trucks, Swat Team vehicles, K9 demonstrations, and more. Game Time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:30.

Tuesday, July 17th -- The Volcanoes continue their three game series against the Everett AquaSox, and it is our third of 6 "2 For Tuesday - Bring A Friend" Night, NEW this year, where you Buy 1 Ticket at regular price, and Get 1 Ticket in the same section for just $5.00. Game Time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:30.

Wednesday, July 18th - The Volcanoes conclude their three-game series against the Everett AquaSox, and it is our third of 5 Wednesday $1 Family Feast Night, sponsored by Franz Bakery, where you can get a Hotdog for just $1, a Soda for just $1, a Popcorn for just $1 or a Ice Cream for just $1. Feed the entire family with this tremendous Wednesday promotion. Game time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:30. It is also the last game of the first half of the 2012 season for standings, and a first half winner will be declared.
