In the top of the fifth inning, Abdiel Layer hits a ground rule double down the left field line that scores Luis Toribio and it gives the Volcanoes an early 1-0 lead.
The next batter, Kwan Adkins hits a double down the right field line that scores Tyler Flores and Layer to increase the lead to 3-0.
In the top of the eleventh inning, Jairo Pomares will score on a wild pitch to give the Volcanoes back the lead 4-3.
The Volcanoes will look to sweep Eugene as Conner Nurse will take the mound.
