
Voigt to Take Leave of Absence

BAKERSFIELD, January 23, 2014 - Bakersfield Jam Head Coach Will Voigt will be taking an immediate leave of absence from the team to attend to a personal family matter, it was announced today. Associate Head Coach John Bryant, in his 3rd season with the Jam, will handle head coaching duties during Voigt's time away. No return date has been set for Voigt at this time.
"Coach Will Voigt is currently back home in Vermont attending to personal family matters," said Jam Managing Partner David Higdon. "Will is a devoted family man and the Jam organization will keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
The Jam's next game will be tomorrow Friday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m. PST at the Dignity Health Event Center.
