Vivian Lin Named President of the San Diego Strike Force

San Diego, Calif. - The San Diego Strike Force announced today the appointment of Vivian Lin as President of the Indoor Football League's (IFL) San Diego franchise. She will be the first Asian American women to assume the highest position in professional football history.
"Vivian has already proved herself to be a groundbreaker in a multitude of other areas in business. We are proud to have her lead the Strike Force organization, with the distinction of being the first female Team President in the IFL. Vivian's winning attitude, passion for football, and love for the San Diego community will set up the Strike Force for success on the field and eventually a championship," said Roy Choi, owner of the San Diego Strike Force.
"I'm really excited and appreciative with this amazing opportunity with the Strike Force," said Lin, a long-time San Diegoan. "I can't wait for our next season to begin. My job is to enable our athletic and business teams to work together cohesively, set them for success and ultimately serve our community. When we return for the 2022 season, our coaches and players have one goal as a team - to win games and the IFL championship."
Lin previously served as the team's Vice President of Business Development. As a serial entrepreneur and sports business consultant based in San Diego, she's led digital transformations to promote sustainable innovative revenue verticals for sports leagues, teams, sports industry leaders and professional athletes. Clients and partners have included professional athletes and executive management from the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, USSF, and ISA. She also develops speaker and community engagement programs that support professional athletes in their active & post athletic careers and the local business networks.
Lin also serves as Director of Corporate Partnerships and co-Chair of Programming for the Asian American Journalist Association Sports Task Force and is a 2021 candidate for an EMBA in global sports business from University of East London.
