Roanoke Valley Vipers News Release
The Vipers won their second straight game against the Elmira Jackals on Saturday in Elmira, New York in what turned out to be a very interesting contest - the Vipers prevailed by a final score of 5-2 after the two teams combined for a total of 144 penalty minutes and five misconducts. The Vipers will look to carry on their momentum from the weekend into their last home stretch of the season, which will begin on Wednesday, April 5th as they host the Adirondack Frostbite for the last time during the 2005-06 season.
LAST WEEK'S GAMES: The Vipers took their last road trip of the season last week, traveling first to the Richmond Coliseum to face the RiverDogs on Wednesday, March 29th, and from there to Glens Falls, New York as they were hosted by the Adirondack Frostbite. They would finish off the weekend with two against the Elmira Jackals, which they split, winning 5-2 on Saturday and falling 5-1 on Sunday.
