
Vipers Waive Carter

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that they have waived guard Russell Carter (6-4, 200, Notre Dame).
Acquired on February 8, Carter did not get into a game with the Vipers.
In 15 games (four starts) with the Austin Toros, Carter averaged 5.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 16.4 minutes of action. He shot 38.3% from the field. Carter, who had a season-high 19 points against the Vipers on November 28, last played for the Toros on January 8.
