
Bighorns Hold-On For 94-90 Win Over Ft. Wayne

RENO, Nev.- Seven Bighorns registered in double figures Tuesday night, as Reno held off a late Fort Wayne push in the fourth quarter to down the Mad Ants 94-90 in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Fort Wayne (10-19) connected on two three-point attempts in the final 10 seconds of the game, but Reno (13-17) was able to convert each of its final four free-throw attempts to close out the victory.
Rod Benson led the Bighorns with 18 points and 15 rebounds, also registering three blocked shots. Yaroslav Korolev scored 16 points off the bench for Reno, while Will Blalock recorded three rebounds, three assists, three steals and 12 points.
Ron Howard paced the Mad Ants with a game-high 21 points. Rob Kurz finished his evening with 19 points and 12 boards.
Next-up for the Bighorns is a weekend trip to Springfield, with games on Friday and Saturday. Both games are set for a 4 p.m. PST tip-off in the MassMutual Center.
