Vipers to Host Hoops for Troops Basketball Tournament

EDINBURG, Texas - In honor of Veterans Day, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers will be hosting a basketball tournament with active military personnel and retired veterans on Nov. 18 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. CST at the DHR Sports Center, and Vipers practice facility located at 315 E. Palm Drive in Edinburg.

The primary aim of the tournament is to highlight and support military service members, veterans and their families through the NBA G League Cares Hoops for Troops community initiative. The tournament will consist of eight different teams of military personnel and veterans from around the Rio Grande Valley. Eight Vipers players will also be in attendance to help encourage, support and coach each team involved.
