The Calgary Vipers got a complete game from starter Dallas Mahan and hit three homeruns enroot to a 13-3 thrashing over the St. George RoadRunners at Foothills Stadium in Calgary, Alberta. Mahan went the entire seven innings in the first half of the double-header allowing only six hits for three runs while walking only one and striking out two. He needed only 70 pitches, 50 of which were strikes, for his third victory of the season. Nelson Castro and Drew Miller supplied the offence for the Snakes with Castro going two-for-two with a homerun, five runs batted in and three runs scored while Miller went three-for-three with a homerun and three batted in.

Travis Drader led off the bottom of the first inning with a walk and advanced all the way to third base when pitcher Billy Simon's pickoff throw was low and got away from the first baseman. Jorge Mejia drove in Drader with a double and after moving up to third base on a Darryl Brinkley groundout he scored on Jose Morban's 20th RBI of the season with a groundout of his own.

Calgary doubled their lead in the bottom of the second inning with a Nelson Castro walk and Drew Miller's eighth homerun of the season to put him atop the Golden Baseball League in homeruns and make the score 4-0.

St. George grabbed a run back in the top of the third inning when Trevor Dimick scored from third base on wild pitch after he had doubled and moved to third on a Ryan Stevenson sacrifice bunt.

In the bottom of the third inning Morban and Felix Jose walked and Castro slugged his first homerun of the season to give Calgary a 7-1 advantage.

The RoadRunners mounted a two out rally in the fourth inning with a Wiki Gonzalez single and a Will Henderson homerun to cut the lead to 7-3.

Castro was back at it again in the bottom of the inning though with a two run base hit for five runs batted in on the game. Drader, Mejia, and Brinkley walked to load the bases before Castro drove in the pair. Miller followed with a RBI single to score Brinkley for the 10-3 advantage.

Three more runs were added in the bottom of the sixth with a Morban double and Jose's third homerun of the season. Castro followed with a walk and Miller singled to put two runners on for Drader who doubled to drive in Castro for the 13-3 lead.
