Vipers Announce Priority Home Dates for 2021-22

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Houston Rockets, announced today six priority home game dates for the 2021-22 season.

The home opener will be the first time that the Vipers return to Bert Ogden Arena in 604 days. In celebration of returning home, the Vipers will be giving away a special item to fans. Below are the priority home dates:

Friday, November 5

Wednesday, November 24

Saturday, January 29

Saturday, February 26

Saturday, March 19

Saturday, March 26

"The Vipers organization is looking forward to be playing games again at our home arena. Many fans and sponsors have let us know how much they look forward to our return as well," said Rene Borrego, Vipers CEO. "We appreciate all the love and support we have received from the RGV in our absence."

RGV will announce the game times, opponents and the remainder of the 2021-22 full schedule, including promotional giveaways and theme nights, at a later date.

"We are part of this community. We have seen all the selfless work of our front-line healthcare workers. We hope to be able to bring some relief to all those who have been sheltered during the pandemic," he continued. "We want to continue to be a safe family friendly outing."

Vipers season memberships for the 2021-22 season are now available for purchase at 956-56-ARENA.
