
Vipers And Performance Therapeutics To Host Winter Youth Basketball Clinics

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Performance Therapeutics announced in a press conference today they are holding three free youth basketball clinics at Performance Therapeutics locations valley-wide beginning on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. in Edinburg.
Boys and girls ages 7-through-14 are invited to receive instruction from Vipers players and coaches using basketball goals from Academy Sports + Outdoors. Participants will receive free breakfast, courtesy of Mimi's Café and Chick-Fil-A. Participants will also receive free t-shirts. After each clinic is complete, the kids will have the chance to take photos with and get autographs from Vipers players, coaches and the mascot, Fang.
"We had an incredible turnout during out summer youth basketball clinics at Academy Sports + Outdoors locations and we are excited to team up with Performance Therapeutics to give the children of our communities more chances to learn to play basketball from the pros, free of charge," Vipers President Brian Michael Cooper said.
"Our partnership with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers is one we are very proud of. Not only do we provide physical therapy and athletic training services for the team, we also partner with them in other community outreach endeavors, such as the one we are about to launch this weekend - the Winter Basketball Skills Clinics at Performance Therapeutics. It gives us the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way to the communities we serve," Performance Therapeutics physical therapist and owen Omar Palomin said.
