Vini Dantas of the Baltimore Blast Celebrates One of his Four Goals Friday Night

The Major Arena Soccer League announced on Tuesday that the Blast leading scorer, Vini Dantas, has been named to the MASL Team of the Week. Dantas played a key role in two blast victories last weekend as Baltimore improved to 11-0 and clinched a playoff berth.
On Friday night against the Waza Flo Vini Dantas recorded 4 goals, all of which came in the third quarter. On Saturday, Dantas would score the game winning goal against the Harrisburg Heat and add an assist. Dantas has now scored in 11 straight games for the Blast and has a total of 30 points on the season. Dantas is tied for 6th in the league in points and ranks 3rd in the MASL in goals with 20. Dantas is also tied for the team lead in assists with 10.
Tony Donatelli was named an honorable mention after a 5 point weekend where he recorded a goal and added 3 assists on Friday night and then scored another goal on Saturday. Donatelli is tied for the team lead in assists with 10.
