PITTSBURGH (Feb. 25, 2015) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are pleased to announce that English midfielder Rob Vincent has extended his contract with the club to remain at Highmark Stadium through the 2016 season.

Vincent signed his first professional contract with the Riverhounds two years ago after graduating from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. The 24-year-old Liverpool native played for USL Premier Development League sides West Virginia Chaos and the Carolina Dynamo during his college career.

"Rob is the quintessential midfielder," said Riverhounds head coach Mark Steffens.

"He defends, he has a tremendous shot with both feet and can score goals.

"He's getting better every year because he's such a hard worker."

The versatile Vincent featured in every one of Pittsburgh's 28 league games last year, notching three goals and one assist.

Additionally, the Riverhounds have added 23-year-old forward Kene Eze for the upcoming 2015 USL season.

Toronto F.C. selected Eze in the fourth round of last year's Major League Soccer SuperDraft. The Sayreville, N.J. native spent the summer with the PDL's Jersey Express franchise.

"Kene has a real striker's mentality," Steffens said. "He wants to beat defenders and get shots off.

"He's a dangerous guy up front."

Eze led Rutgers University in goals scored for three straight seasons at the collegiate level. He made 49 appearances during three years with the Scarlet Knights, netting 22 goals and contributing eight assists.
