
Roughnecks Finalize 2 More Signings

The Tulsa Roughnecks and Head Coach David Irving officially announced two more player signings today. Irving revealed that Eli Galbraith-Knapp and Ryan Price have agreed to contract terms with the club.
Galbraith-Knapp is a defender who spent the winter with the San Diego Sockers in the Major Arena Soccer League. He played in five games with the Sockers, picking up two assists. He has also spent time with the US Arena National Team.
Galbraith-Knapp played collegiately with the University of San Diego, starting in 74 of a possible 77 games during his career, the sixth most starts in Gals history. He finished his career with 10 goals and 4 assists.
After his collegiate career, he spent time in Valencia, Spain, training with UD Alzira in the Spanish Tercera Division.
Galbraith-Knapp is a native of San Diego.
Price will be a defender for the Roughnecks after playing in an u p-front role during his collegiate career at Florida Atlantic University. In two seasons with the Owls, Price started in 31 of 32 games.
In 2013, he tallied a team-leading 7 goals and added 4 assists while earning All-Conference USA honors. Price also received academic honors for student-athletes earning a grade point average of 3.0 or greater.
Last year, he again led the Owls with 6 goals scored. Price started and played in all 16 games and accumulated 1,450 minutes played. The results gained him his second straight All-Conference USA honor.
Price played at Melbourne High School in Florida, helping his team to back-to-back state titles his junior and senior seasons. He was named the 5A Dairy Farmer's Player of the Year in his junior year and the 6A Player of the Year following his senior season.
"Ryan and Eli are both good, young players with a great deal of potential," said Irving. "We feel they are both ready to take the next step in their playing careers and can be productive performers for us this season."
