Clarke has won two championships in his career winning the College Hockey America championship as a freshman in 2003-04 with Niagara University and he led the Belfast Giants to the 2011-12 EIHL championship. "I'm really looking forward to the experience and opportunity of playing in Pensacola," commented Clarke. In 378 career ECHL games split between five teams, Clarke scored 119 goals and had 163 assists for 282 points. He also amassed 244 penalty minutes. Clarke was named the ECHL Player of the Week for the week of March 24-30, 2014 while playing for the Fort Wayne Komets and former Ice Flyers coach Gary Graham. During that week, the Komets played two games and Clarke scored three goals while assisting on three others. He is a player that will show up and compete on a nightly basis."
