Crestwood, IL - The Windy City ThunderBolts have announced that infielder Anthony Seratelli will return to Crestwood for the 2007 season. Seratelli was at or near the top of all the major offensive categories for the ThunderBolts last year.
The 2006 season was Seratelli's first as a professional and he delivered with a .286 average, seven triples, six home runs, 39 RBI, 48 runs scored, 34 walks, and 28 stolen bases. His triple and home run totals were best on the team and his seven triples were third most in the Frontier League. Seratelli closed out the season on a hot streak, picking up hits in 11 of his final 15 games with two home runs and 13 RBI over that stretch. He was voted as the ThunderBolts 2006 MVP in the postseason fan poll.
