Venues and Times Set for D.C. United-Harbour View Series

WASHINGTON, DC (January 12, 2003) - D.C. United today announced plans to host their 2005 CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal match against Jamaican club Harbour View FC on Wednesday, March 9th at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. The return leg of the home-and-away series will be played a week later, on March 16th at 7:30 p.m. ET at Harbour View Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The March 9th match is not part of United's season ticket packages and all tickets must be purchased separately.

"We're pleased to be back at the Maryland SoccerPlex," said United Sr. Vice President Stephen Zack. "They've been a great partner and will do a great job in hosting this important match."

All tickets for the March 9th game are general admission and cost $20 in advance. D.C. United season ticket holders and groups of 20 or more may purchase seats to the game for $16 each. Children under two will be admitted free of charge. D.C. United is accepting season ticket and group orders now at 202-587-5000. Individual game tickets will go on sale through TicketMaster and the Maryland SoccerPlex at a later date.

Seating capacity at the Maryland SoccerPlex is limited to 4,000, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. Any remaining tickets will be available on the day of the game at the Maryland SoccerPlex. The gates will open for parking at 3:00 p.m. at a cost of $5 per car.

Should United advance to the semifinal round, the MLS Cup Champions would face the winner of Pumas UNAM (MEX) and CD Olimpia (HON) on April 6th and 13th. Other pairings have CF Monterrey (MEX) meeting CSD Municipal (GUA) and the Kansas City Wizards facing Deportivo Saprissa (CRC). The championship series is set for May 4th and 11th with the winner of the 2005 CONCACAF Champions Cup advancing to the FIFA Club World Championship to be held in Japan from December 11th - 18th.

The CONCACAF Champions' Cup is the longest running international club competition in the region and has crowned the champion club of the Confederation since its inception in 1962.
