Uvaldo Luna Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

Colorado Springs, CO - The USL Championship officially announced today that Uvaldo Luna was named to the Team of the Week Bench for week 7 of the 2020 season, presented by Cleer Audio.

Luna made the Team of the Week after coming off the bench and scoring two goals in the final eight minutes of the Switchbacks game against the El Paso Locomotive FC. Luna also recorded four key passes in just 45 minutes of play on Saturday night.

The Switchbacks return to Weidner Field to take on New Mexico United on Saturday, August 15th with gates opening at 2pm for a 3pm kickoff. This game was originally scheduled to be played in New Mexico, but it was moved to Colorado Springs due to the fluid nature of COVID-19 restrictions. All home matches in 2020 at Weidner Field will be available for Switchbacks Season Ticket Members only.
