Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The ECHL announced today that Utah Grizzlies Ticket Sales Manager Will Goldman along with Brad Urbani from the Bakersfield Condors have been named the league's Ticket Sales Account Executives of the year.
The award is presented to an individual who has experienced success with the ticket sales process. The winner is selected by a vote of league general managers and ticketing managers. The two were honored last week at the ECHL's Sales, Marketing and Communications Meetings in Las Vegas. The Grizzlies increased ticket sales by 13-percent in 2011-2012, the second largest increase in the ECHL.
"We are pleased to see Will's hard work, that we see everyday honored at the league level," said Grizzlies CEO Kevin Bruder. "He has grown within our organization and does a great job on a daily basis of setting an example for our ticket sales culture."
Goldman, 27, joined the Grizzlies in July of 2009 from the ECHL's Dayton Bombers. He was later promoted to Senior Ticket Sales Account Executive and named the team's Ticket Sales Manager in May of 2012. This past season, he increased his season ticket revenue by 50 percent, and surpassed his group sales goal as well. He is also instrumental in the team's Pooch on the Pond, which has grown into a two-day event.
Ticket packages for the 2012-2013 season are on sale now at the Utah Grizzlies offices at Maverik Center or by calling (801) 988-PUCK. Visit utahgrizzlies.com for more information.
