Idaho Receives Website Award of Excellence

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that the Idaho Steelheads ( IdahoSteelheads.com ) are the 2011-12 recipient of the Website Award of Excellence .
The other finalists were the Cincinnati Cyclones ( CyclonesHockey.com ), Las Vegas Wranglers ( LasVegasWranglers.com ) and Stockton Thunder ( StocktonThunder.com ).
The websites were reviewed by the staff of NewSport Media and were judged on criteria including design, organization, site flow, update frequency and use of photos and video.
Idaho's website is designed and hosted by Drake Cooper and is updated by Director of Media Relations/Broadcasting Will Hoenike and Creative Services Director Chris Mitchell.
It is the second year in a row, and the third time since 2007, that Idaho has won the Website Award of Excellence. The Steelheads earned top marks from the voting panel for update frequency, mobile readiness and design and organization.
