Des Moines, Iowa. - The Utah Jazz have signed Iowa Energy guard Patrick Christopher, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.
Christopher (6-5, 209) has played in seven games (all starts) for the Energy this season, averaging 15.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks on .447 shooting. Last year, Christopher averaged 13.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 50 games (47 starts) for the Energy.
This is the first NBA Call-Up for Christopher. On Sept. 25, the Memphis Grizzlies signed Christopher to their training camp roster, but was waived on Oct. 25. Christopher has spent time with Detroit in the 2011 NBA Summer League and was on the Chicago Bulls training camp roster in 2013.
