
USA Hockey, Marriott Form Partnership

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey today announced a new partnership with Marriott International, one of the world's foremost leaders in the lodging industry. Under the agreement, Marriott will serve as the official hotel sponsor of USA Hockey.
In addition, Marriott will be the official hotel sponsor of USA Hockey's national teams, the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Ceremony, the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Ceremony and the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's Championship.
"With such an extensive brand portfolio and reputation for top-notch customer service, Marriott will provide a significant benefit to our nearly 600,000 members across the nation," said Dave Ogrean, executive director for USA Hockey.

With more than 3,500 properties and the broadest portfolio of brands in the industry, Marriott has been in business for more than 80 years and has built a culture and tradition of innovation and service.
As a part of Marriott's commitment, a team of sales associates will be assigned to USA Hockey's districts and affiliates to assist with hotel searches across all of Marriott's brands, requesting proposals and negotiating contracts. In addition, Marriott will provide access to a wide range of tools and programs to assist with travel needs.
Participating Marriott brands include JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites.
