
Stampede Captian Perrier Commits to Bowling Green

Sioux Falls, SD-The Sioux Falls Stampede are proud to announce that defenseman Marcus Perrier has committed to Bowling Green State University for the 2011-12 season. He becomes the 13th Stampede player to commit to a Division I program this season.
The Thunder Bay, Ontario native is in his third season with the Stampede and is currently the team captain and a fan favorite.
He leads the team with 132 penalty minutes and has 11 points on a career high five goals and six assists. Two of his five goals have come on the powerplay this season. Perrier has a franchise record 395 penalty minutes in 140 career games.
Bowling Green State University is located in Bowling Green, Ohio and are members of the CCHA. Former Stampede forward David Solway is currently a senior captain at Bowling Green while former players Max Grover and Marc Rodriguez area also skating with the Falcons.
Perrier and the Stampede return home this Friday and Saturday when they host Cedar Rapids and Sioux City. Game times are 7:05 PM and tickets are going quickly. Don't delay, get to the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office today!
