Updated Protocols Announced

Iowa Barnstormers News Release


On June 1, 2021 the Iowa Events Center announced that events at Wells Fargo Arena, Community Choice Convention Center, and Hy-Vee Hall will be allowed to be held at full capacity, subject to each event's policies. Due to this change in policy, the Iowa Barnstormers will now have full capacity at their remaining 2021 home games.

Moving forward, the Iowa Barnstormers will be at 100% capacity for all remaining 2021 home games. This update will include the following changes:

The seating map at Wells Fargo Arena will be at full capacity during all Iowa Barnstormers home games, so there will be no more pod seating or social distanced seating. 

Game tickets for the remaining home games will be available for sale online and through the Iowa Barnstormers front office with no socially distanced protocol. 

Masks will no longer be required when attending an Iowa Barnstormers game; however, masks are encouraged.

The Iowa Barnstormers will be resuming our usual post-game autograph session for all remaining home games. Fans will be permitted on the field following the game; however, we ask that fans practice social distancing to the best of their abilities when interacting with the players, dancers, and Barnstormers staff on the field. 

The health and safety of our team, staff, and fans remains the Iowa Barnstormers top priority. While restrictions have been lifted, we do ask that our fans respect our staff and each other and continue to practice social distancing to the best of their abilities when interacting.
