Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC will be hosting open tryouts this weekend in search of new talent to add to the 2018 squad. The Switchbacks will then be hosting a media event at the Antlers Hotel on February 13th to reveal their new jersey sponsor.

Over 60 players from across the world will be competing for two spots in the Switchbacks pre-season squad. The tryout sessions will take place from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on February 10th & 11th. Pride Soccer Complex is located at: 8700 E Woodmen Rd. Colorado Springs, CO, 80908.

Last season, Jack Jones, was the success story of the 2017 tryouts. Jones played in nine USL games starting three of them. Jones also scored the lone Switchbacks goal in a 1-1 draw in Seattle late in the season.

Coaching staff will be made available for comments. Please contact Communications Manager, Joel Huber, when you will be attending tryouts so that proper arrangements can be made

The Switchbacks will then be hosting a media event at the Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs on Tuesday, February 13th at 12:00 pm. All coaching staff and players will be on hand as the Switchbacks reveal Capelli Sport as their new jersey provider. Please RSVP to Communications Manager Joel Huber if you plan on attending.
