Augusta, N.J. -We have some great promotions coming up here at Skylands Park next weekend. Friday night, July 9, is not only fireworks night AND Military Appreciation Night, but Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 Chevy will also be on display at the ballpark! The 'Hawks play the expansion Pittsfield Colonials Friday at 6:05 p.m., so come out to enjoy the festivities and cheer for your Sussex Skyhawks!
Following Friday's jam-packed schedule is Saturday's Irish Heritage Night! The gates will open early at 3:45 p.m. for the 5:05 p.m. start
Irish Heritage Night will feature live music from Kindred Spirit at 4:00 PM, delicious Fish 'n Chips dishes, and great drink specials on Guinness and Harp. In addition, the first 500 fans to arrive at Century Link Field at Skylands Park will receive a free inflatable baseball! Fans are encouraged to show their Irish pride by wearing green. By doing so, they are automatically eligible to receive additional prizes, giveaways, and discounts!

Free Tickets for August 15 vs. Quebec!
The Sussex County Department of Human Services, the Division of Community and Youth Services, and the County Municipal Alliance funded through the Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse are providing an alcohol-free afternoon within the seating bowl at Skylands Park in collaboration with the Center for Prevention and Counseling on August 15. The Skyhawks will host the Quebec Les Capitales that afternoon at 2:05 PM.
There are 1,500 free tickets available to families and community members through these departments for this drug and alcohol-free activity. To obtain the tickets, contact the Department of Human Services, Division of Community and Youth Services at www.sussex.nj.us to download instructions and a registration form. You can also receive your registration form and instructions by sending an email to municipalalliance@sussex.nj.us with the words "Alcohol Free Ballgame" in the subject line. Wrestling at Skylands Park!
On Saturday, August 21, Big Time Wrestling will present the Sussex Slam at Skylands Park in Augusta, New Jersey. Wrestlers including 5X 5X 5X World Champion Booker T, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Balls Mahoney, Spike Dudley, and Justin Credible will be competing against each other in live pro wrestling matches under the stars. Brittney Savage will also make an appearance.
Bell time is scheduled for 7 PM on Saturday, August 21. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos and get autographs from the wrestlers from 4:30-6:30 PM. Tickets are now on sale at the Skyhawks Box Office. General admission seats are only $12, and a photo with Booker T or an item autographed by Booker T is $15. The rain date for this event is August 22 with a bell time of 1 PM, and autographs would take place at 11 AM. To get your tickets, call 973-300-1000 (x 21) or visit www.sussexskyhawks.com.
There are special ticket packages available for this event as well. The VIP Package is $50.00 and VIP Package includes a front row seat plus a photo with Booker T AND an item autographed by Booker T. A Ringside ticket includes one reserved seat and is priced at $25.00.
