Sussex 4, Brockton 3

The Sussex Skyhawks rolled out to a 3-0 lead after two innings and held off a late Brockton rally to win 4-3. LF Kraig Binick, DH Caleb Stewart and C Jon Gossard each had two hit games to lead the Sussex offense. Skyhawks starter Daniel Berlind tossed a solid game en route to his second win of the season. Berlind went seven shutout innings allowing three walks and seven hits while fanning four Brockton batters. Rox LF Melvin Falu went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI in the loss.

Quebec 10, Worcester 4

The Worcester Tornadoes jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one inning of play. After that it was all Quebec. The Capitales scored five runs in the second inning followed by three more in the third to take an 8-2 lead and would cruise from there to a 10-4 victory. 1B Jeremy Hunt and RF Jared Lemieux combined to go 7-for-8 at the plate with a RBI, two doubles and six runs scored. Capitales starting pitcher Michel Simard allowed two earned runs on five hits over six innings of work to notch his third win of the season.

Pittsfield 17, New Jersey 4

It was all Pittsfield in this game as the Colonials took a 7-0 lead after two innings and went on to roll past the New Jersey Jackals 17-4. Pittsfield SS Matt Nandin went 3-for-6 with three runs scored and two RBI while 1B Jerod Edmondson was 2-for-6 at the plate with three runs scored and three runs batted in. Pittsfield starter David Qualben allowed four earned runs in six innings pitched and collected the win.
