Rockford Aviators News Release
LOVES PARK IL, - The Rockford Aviators will host the Florence Freedom for a 3-game home stand this week. Our first game against Florence will kick start our "America Rocks" theme. We will have an ice cream bomb-pop giveaway, $1 beer night presented by Bud Light and LaMonica beverages, Jersey auction, and post-game Fireworks.
Tuesday, June 30th @ 6:35 p.m.- Kick off "America Rocks" Theme.
Aviators Stadium gates open at 5:35 pm, 1 hour prior to start time. Our outrageous crew will be dressed as patriotic American figures. These include Uncle Same and The Statue of Liberty. The Aviators encourage all fans to dress in as much American flag and patriotic colors as possible for our first game against the Florence Freedom.
Wednesday, July 1st @ 6:35 p.m.- Bomb-pop Giveaway
Wednesday the Aviators will be handing out special Bomb-Pop popsicles at the gate for the first 250 fans. These popsicles are available for $2.50 at our concession stands throughout the duration of the game. Only the first 250 fans through the gate will receive a Bomb-Pop and the Aviators recommend all fans arrive prior to the time of the gate opening to ensure a chance for a Bomb-Pop.
Thursday, July 2nd @ 6:35 p.m.- $1 Beer Night, Bobble Head Giveaway, Post-Game Fireworks, and Jersey Auction
Bring the entire family out for Game 3 versus the Florence Freedom. First 1,000 fans through the gate will receive an Uncle Sam bobble head. During the contest we will be serving $1 10 oz. beers courtesy of Bud Light and LaMonica beverages. We also will be hosting our second jersey auction of the season. During the game fans may enter the Hot Corner and bid, in increments of $5, for a jersey that a player is wearing. After the conclusion of the contest we invite the winning fans onto the field to meet the player and get their jersey signed. Finally, we will have post-game fireworks presented by Bartolotta Fireworks Company.
