October 27, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Houston Takers News Release

Houston, TX. Once again, the ABA Houston Undertakers have ended a game on a winning note and still improve towards the end of the pre-season. The Houston Blaze kept up with the Undertakers until Jai Pradia, Joe Nelson and Keyshawn Reed said no more. The final score was 158-137 and improved the Undertakers pre-season record to 7-1.

The final pre-season game will be Monday night when they will have a rematch against Play To Score which gave the Undertakers their only defeat. "This game will really show us what our team is made of and will show the city of Houston that we mean business. We will take no prisoners this year," said Jai Pradia. "They know a lot of our guys and the style that Coach Carr likes to play. These are guys who have played in the league and some are also the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. So it should be a fun event and we promise to put on a good show," added owner Larry Leonard.
