Pearls to play second exhibition game

Baltimore, MD (October 27, 2006) - The Baltimore Pearls ABA Men's Basketball team has announced their 2nd exhibition game of the pre-season. The Pearls will play the All Navy Basketball Team this Saturday, October 28th, 2006. Game time is 7 p.m. and the location is Novak Field House on the campus of Prince Georges' Community College in Largo, MD. The All Navy team is the defending All Armed Forces Champions. "We look forward to testing our local Baltimore talent against the best basketball players actively serving our country", said Baltimore Pearls owner Matt Bradby. Star players for the All Navy team include Francis Ebong (USNA - Annapolis), Micah Bonner (Stillman College) and Jason Jefferson (Alcorn State) who have played for USA Basketball in European tournaments. Key players also playing for the All Navy team are: Kyle Mann (University of Nebraska) and Devon Wilson (Fisk University).

NEXT WEEKEND: The home opening weekend games between the Baltimore Pearls and their ABA opponents, the Strong Island Sound and the defending ABA champions, Rochester Razorsharks will be held on the Pearl Arena on the campus of Coppin State University in Baltimore on Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th, 2006.
