Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks begin a seven game home stand Friday, July 18 at Mahaney Diamond. The Jacks will take on the New Jersey Jackals for three games over the weekend before entertaining the Elmira (NY) Pioneers for four games next week. The Lumberjacks Little League Card Me Night highlights the promotional schedule.

The Jacks and Jackals begin their series Friday night at 7:15 PM. Gates for the game open at 6 PM. The Lumberjacks and Jackals play again on Saturday night for the Lumberjacks Little League Card Me Night. If you are a little leaguer and look under 18, prepare to be carded. By that we mean that participating Little League teams will have the chance to dash around the Lumberjacks outfield in search of three special Bangor Lumberjacks cards to win some great prizes. All season, 10 pack, and 5 pack tickets holders, will receive a pack of 2003 Lumberjack Baseball Cards. Sets will also be given out to the first few hundred people through the gates. The Lumberjacks will have a post game autograph session with the players to have the cards signed.

Sunday is WEZQ 92.9 FM's Family Fun Day. Families are able to purchase a Jack Pack for $35, which includes: 4 reserve tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 programs, a pre-game ball toss on the field, a post game running of the bases and an autograph session with the Lumberjack players, courtesy of WEZQ 92.9 FM. Cumulus Broadcasting will present a party piñata after the game, as well. Gates open at 1 PM for the 2 PM start.

Monday, the Lumberjacks will be at the Bangor Public Library for a reading with kids beginning at 10 AM. The library is located on Harlow St. in downtown Bangor. That night, the Lumberjack open a four game series against the Elmira Pioneers at 7:15 PM.

Tuesday, July 22 is Two for Tuesday. Anyone purchasing a general admission or reserve ticket can get another one for free. The Jacks finish up the home stand with games against the Pioneers on Wednesday and Thursday night, both beginning at 7:15 PM.
