CARSON, CALIF. - Red Bulls Homegrown midfielder Tyler Adams started and played a full 90 minutes for the U.S. Men's National Team on Sunday night in an international friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The teams played to a 0-0 draw at the Stubhub Center in Carson.
Adams' second senior team appearance caps off his first January Camp with the U.S. Men's senior team, which took place at the StubHub Center from January 11 through January 27. The 18-year-old played the full 90 minutes in a midfield role, often getting forward to generate chances.
The Wappinger Falls native received his first call-up to the senior USMNT squad on November 7 and then made his first career appearance one week later on November 14 against Portugal. The senior team debut capped off a memorable 2017 for Adams, as he broke into MLS with 24 appearances and two goals, and also represented the U.S. at the Under-20 World Cup.
Adams will join the Red Bulls for preseason camp in Oldsmar, Florida this week.
