(January 29, 2018) - Sporting Kansas City will conclude the first leg of the club's preseason campaign, presented by Children's Mercy, with two exhibition matches in Arizona this week. Following a 2-1 win in the team's preseason opener on Saturday with goals from Sporting KC Academy products Daniel Salloi and Gianluca Busio, Sporting KC will now face Sporting Arizona FC of the United Premier Soccer League at 12 p.m. CT on Wednesday before taking on MLS side Colorado Rapids at 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday.

Both matches will be held at the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex (751 N. McClintock Dr.) in Scottsdale, Arizona. In-game updates will be provided from @SKCMatchday and @SportingKC on Twitter along with match recaps on SportingKC.com.

On Thursday, single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City's first 10 regular season home matches will go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. CT via SeatGeek.com. Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members may purchase single-game tickets for all 17 regular season home matches during an exclusive pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. CT today.

Major League Soccer will host a media event today at 11 a.m. CT for an important announcement on the future of soccer in Miami. Among the guests in attendance with MLS Commissioner Don Garber and former MLS All-Star David Beckham will be Sprint Corporation CEO Marcelo Claure and Sprint Corporation Chairman of the Board Masayoshi Son. The press conference will be streamed live on MLSsoccer.com and broadcast globally via satellite (clean feed information available upon request) for news outlets.

Back-to-back USL Cup finalists Swope Park Rangers will kick off their third professional season this week. The team, now led by head coach Paulo Nagamura, will officially open preseason training at 1:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday at Swope Soccer Village (6310 Lewis Rd.) in Kansas City, Missouri.
