The defenseman spent the second half of the 2013-2014 season in Muskegon after being acquired in a trade with the Green Bay Gamblers. In 88 career regular season games with the Lumberjacks, Wolanin scored 19 goals and recorded 43 assists for a total of 62 points. In 12 postseason games with the Lumberjacks, Wolanin scored three goals and collected five assists. Following the 2014-2015 season, the Ottawa Senators drafted Wolanin 107th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Wolanin is currently in his freshman year at the University of North Dakota, and in 31 games has netted four goals and notched 11 assists for 15 points.

Top-seeded Quinnipiac will take on Adam Gilmour and Boston College in the first frozen four matchup this Thursday April 7th, at 5 p.m. in Tampa Bay, Florida.
