GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today that two Loons - Finland forward Teemu Pukki and Honduras midfielder Joseph Rosales - have been called up to their respective national teams for the September international window. Both Pukki and Rosales will depart for international duty following the MLS match at the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night.
Forward Teemu Pukki joins the Finland National Team for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Kazakhstan and Denmark. Finland currently leads Group H with three wins and one loss. Pukki currently sits as the all-time leading scorer of the national team with 38 goals across 112 caps since 2009, notably holding the record for second-most appearances with Huukajat.
