
Two Lancers Ranked by NHL Scouting Report

Ralston, NE - The National Hockey League's (NHL) Scouting Report released their "Players to Watch" list on Wednesday, November, 15th in preparation for the 2018 NHL Draft. Two Omaha Lancers appeared on the 54 USHL players list.
The Annual list identifies players using the following criteria: A Rating - indicates a 1st round candidate, B Rating - indicates a 2nd/3rd round candidate, C Rating - indicates a 4th/5th/6th round candidate and LV (Limited Viewing) - injured players who have not sufficient viewing to be categorized.
Current Lancers players ranked by the Central Scouting are forward Jack Randl, and defenseman, Travis Mitchell.
Jack Randl, 17, a Carpentersville, IL native, has played in 12 games this season with the Lancers and has tallied seven total points (2 goals, 5 assists). Randl is also an alternate captain for the 2017-18 squad and is committed to play college hockey at the University of Michigan.
Travis Mitchell, 17, a South Lyon, MI native, has played in five games this season for the Lancers and has three total points (1 goal, 2 assists). Mitchell is committed to play college hockey at Cornell University.
Current Lancers players Noah Cates and Nick Perbix were selected in the 2017 NHL Draft. Cates was selected 5th round, 137th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers and Perbix was selected in the 6th round, 169th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Omaha Lancers congratulates Jack Randl and Travis Mitchell on being named to the NHL Central Scouting's "Players to Watch" list for November 2017.
