Two Jr Blues Named NHL Prospects
Published on September 29, 2015 under North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
Two Springfield Jr Blues players were listed on the NHL Central Scouting Preliminary Players to Watch List. Tommy Nappier and Erich Fear were 2 of the 10 active NAHL players included on this list. The Watch List collects players from leagues all around the world and gives them grades based on where the players could potentially go in the draft. Both Nappier and Fear were given C-grades meaning they are believed to be fourth round talent.
The Springfield Jr. Blues were the only team in the NAHL to have more than one player make the list.
NHL Central Scouting will release its midseason rankings of 2016 draft-eligibles in January, followed by its final rankings in April. The Buffalo Sabres will host the 2016 NHL Draft at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. Next year's Draft will be held over two days on June 24-25.
